The items in the deluxe pack are all over the map. You'll get Deluxe Escalations, a digital soundtrack, digital "World of Hitman" book, director commentary, deluxe suits and items, as well as the Trinity Pack of suits. Resident Evil has had a pretty strong run as of late, with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village pushing the franchise forward, while remakes like Resident Evil 2 and 3 bring the past to life in electrifying ways. Now, Netflix is ready to further expand the reach of Capcom's popular gaming franchise with a new live-action series. The official reveal comes more than a year and a half after an initial report surfaced that the project was in the works. Then, earlier this year, a description of what the series could focus on leaked . This morning, Netflix tweeted out a very brief synopsis, as well as a photo of the script of the first episode, titled "Welcome to New Raccoon City." The first season will feature eight one-hour episodes, with Supernatural  writer Andrew Dabb running the show. Epic Games has pulled back the curtain on Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, revealing Nexus War. This Marvel-focused season injects several heroes and villains into Fortnite with an overarching story of stopping Galactus, a cosmic entity known for devouring worlds. Thor, the god of thunder, uses the Bifrost to bring together characters like Storm, Wolverine, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Groot, She-Hulk, and Iron Man to stop Galactus from devouring the world of Fortnite. The description on the official Fortnite website mentions being able to use super powers like Doctor Doom's gauntlets, Groot's bramble shield, Silver Surfer's board, and more arriving as the season progresses. In addition to the characters of Marvel arriving, several locations have as well, including Doom's Domain, Sentinel Island, and a helicarrier. Final Fantasy was a popular name even back in the late '80s and early '90s, and it was sometimes applied to games that weren't technically part of the Final Fantasy series in order to catch the attention of a wider audience in North America. At that micro scale, spiders, ants, and even ladybugs can be formidable foes. Today, Obsidian has added a new visitor to the game that's sure to make things a little more complicated: the bird. More specifically, it's a crow, aka The Best Bird. Players can use its feathers to craft new items, including a new outfit. The update also adds new missions, decorative options, and more. It wouldn't be a big game release if it didn't have a variety of versions and different price points for each. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is launching with three versions. A standard edition for $59.99, a cross-gen bundle for $69.99, and an ultimate edition for $89.99. All PlayStation 4 versions come with early access to the open beta, operator Frank Woods, and an immediate-use assault rifle blueprint. The standard edition is interesting, as it will also play on PlayStation 5, but through backwards compatibility. It won't have the new-gen bells and whistles. You'll have to upgrade to the cross-gen bundle to get the update that enhances the game for PlayStation 5. The ultimate edition is packed with content, and comes with a free download for the PlayStation 5 version. Hello Games Founder Sean Murray took to the PlayStation Blog today to share some big news on his team’s new project. In addition to the team’s focus on No Man’s Sky, we’ve also known for some time that part of the team is working on a puzzle project called The Last Campfire. There hasn’t been a lot of news around the game, but today’s post brings the surprising announcement that The Last Campfire is set for launch tomorrow, August 27, on PS4. The exploration and puzzle-focused gameplay should be an interesting departure from the more galaxy-spanning explorations of the team’s other project. “It’s a game about loss, hope and empathy,” Murray says of The Last Campfire. “You play as Ember, a lost soul in a charming but dark world. On your path you find others like you, some of whom have lost their way and turned forlorn. Next month, PlayStation Plus subscribers are invited to partake in one-on-one and one-on-ninety-nine battles. Both Street Fighter V and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds can be downloaded and played for free starting on September 1. You'll have until October 5 to download both of these excellent games. Players of all skill levels will be able to compete for cash prizing, as well as a new PS4 theme and a custom in-game title. Last month, Square Enix revealed Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, confirming it would come out this year for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Today, a release date was finally revealed alongside some new key art, which features pivotal characters from the series, illustrated by director Tetsuya Nomura. The key art also has Kairi front and center, which hints at her having a big role in the game's story.  You'll be fighting to Kingdom Hearts' infectious beats when the game launches on November 13. Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory boasts over 140 tracks from the series and over 20 characters. Click to watch embedded media As we wait for Cyberpunk 2077 to release, CD Project RED is keeping us engaged in different ways; this time with the announcement of The Witcher: Monster Slayer, an augmented-reality RPG for iOS and Android mobile devices. Monster Slayer is developed and published by Spokko, and is designed as a prequel that takes place before the core Witcher series of games. The trailer doesn't give us a good look at much of the game, and is mostly a vibe piece that shows someone walking through the woods to track down a monster. in that clip though, we do see one monster encounter, and the visuals are quite good. Each player becomes a hunter that must track, study, and battle creatures that pop up on the map. To take down these threats, the hunter needs to gear up in a number of ways and craft materials that can be used to lure out and weaken monsters. Certain Pokémon can evolve into more powerful forms for a limited amount of time, and you'll soon be able to tap into this potential in Pokémon Go. Using a new resource called Mega Energy, specific Pokémon like a Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise will be able turn into a fourth form. You obtain this new resource by completing Mega Raids. The faster you can take down the boss, the more energy you'll get as a reward. Just like feeding Pokémon candies, you'll need a specific amount of energy to evolve into the new forms. Once a Pokémon reaches its Mega state, the energy will slowly decrease over time, and once it's gone, the creature returns to its previous state. Only one Pokémon can be Mega evolved at once, and it can't be a shadow or clone. These powerful forms are great for battles, but can also do every other activity in the game, including being your pet.
